Following Caranzalem’s appearance at The Early Music Festival in
Limerick we have been offered the opportunity to host these two wonderful
young Spanish musicians to come and perform for us in the Cathedral. Pilar
Almalé plays the viola de gamba and Elena Escartín plays the recorder.
They come from Zaragoza in the North of Spain but the name Caranzalem is
taken from a neighbourhood in Panaji, the capital of Goa. This event has
been organised by Vlad Smishkewych of Vox Nostra of RTE Lyric fm.
Do come along, bring a friend and enjoy an evening of early music.
The concert will be held on 23 March 2022 at 7 p.m.
The programme is Caja de Música (Music Box)
